- David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter of the late Dervorguilla, daughter of the late Alan of Galloway, to Sweetheart abbey in Galloway. [Dervorguilla's charter to Sweetheart abbey dated 2 April 1273: 3/28/37] The king has approved, ratified and confirmed this charter in all its points in perpetuity.
