Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful James Douglas, son and heir of the late John Douglas knight, all the land of 'Garmilton Dunyng' (Garleton, ELO) in the sheriffdom of Edinburgh, which was the late John of Echline's and which touches the king by reason of bastardy; holding by James and his heirs or assigns in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
