Description
David, king of Scots, has inspected a charter of Margaret, wife of the late Robert Menzies knight to Dunfermline abbey, stated in full. [Margaret of Outh, daughter and single heir of Lord David of Outh knight, and widow of the late Lord Robert Menzies knight, with the consent of her son and heir John Menzies, has given St Margaret and Dunfermline abbey, all her land of Pitfirrane (FIF).] The king approves, ratifies and confirms this in all its articles out of certain knowledge. And from his special grace, he concedes to Dunfermline abbey freedom from all suits of court.
