Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful John Broun, son of David Broun, all the land of 'Cummyrcolystona' (Colstoun) in the constabulary of Haddington and the sheriffdom of Edinburgh (ELO), which land the said David Broun of his own free will resigned by staff and baton in perpetuity; holding in feu and heritage, as freely as David held it before his resignation, saving to David father of John and Agnes his spouse the free holding of the said land in their lifetimes; for service owed and wont.
