Description
David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter of his beloved and familiar John of Ancrum, burgess of Edinburgh. [Charter of John of Ancrum to parish church of Edinburgh of the lands of Craigcrook.] The king approves, ratifies and confirms this, remitting those 10s owed from Craigcrook for castle ward and all suits of court. He firmly commands his sheriff and coroner not to interfere in Craigcrook.
