Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Andrew Spring, burgess of Aberdeen, and Helen de Bonville, one half perch of land which was Hugh de Rod[...]'s, located in the burgh of Aberdeen at the place called the Checker, which lands renders to the altar of Blessed James the Apostle 16s 8d annually, and to Arbroath abbey, one pound of wax, and which land touches on the king due to the forfeiture of James's heirs, for being against his peace and fealty; in feu and heritage, as freely as Hugh held it, for service owed and wont.
