Description
David, king of Scots, has approved, ratified, and confirmed those donations which William Keith, our marischal of Scotland, and Andrew of Garioch made to his beloved and faithful Adam Pingle of the lands of Knock (Knockhill, KCD) and 'Gelestan' (Gellan?), in the barony of Strachan in the sheriffdom of Kincardine (KCD), given by the said William, and the lands of 'Badcasse' in the tenement of 'Kynbeone' in the barony of Rothienorman in the sheriffdom of Aberdeen (ABD), given by the said Andrew; holding in feu and heritage, as contained in the charters or letters of William and Andrew, saving the king's service.
