David, king of Scots, has approved, ratified, and confirmed that donation which Thomas, earl of Mar, made to Alexander Lindsay, of the lands of the barony of Balendoch (PER) and Ruthven in the sheriffdom of Forfar (ANG); in feu and heritage, as contained in the earl's charter or letter to Alexander, for service owed and wont, saving the king's service.
