- David, king of Scots, has approved, ratified and confirmed that donation which the late Eustace Herries made to Helen his former spouse, now spouse of his beloved and faithful William of Cargill of the land of Balhary in the barony of Bamff the sheriffdom of Perth (PER), in free dower, the old marriage of Eustace and Helen having been celebrated lawfully in front of a church; holding by Helen for her lifetime, in pure integral and free dower, saving the king's service.
