- David, king of Scots, has approved, ratified and confirmed that donation which his beloved and faithful William, earl of Sutherland, made to his faithful John of Tarrel of six davochs of the land of Rovie in Stathfleet (SUT) in the sheriffdom of Inverness; in feu and heritage, as contained in the earl's charter or letter to John, saving the king's service.
