Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Aulay son of Aulay MacCormack his land of Stroangassel (KCB) in Gleken in the sheriffdom of Dumfries, which Gilla Muire MacAulay MacCormack resigned to the king at Edinburgh on 26 Nov., AD 1365, by staff and baton; holding by Aulay and the male heirs of his body lawfully procreated, as freely as Gilla Muire held it, making service owed and wont.
