Description
David, king of Scots, has given Fergus of Ednam, burgess of Edinburgh, that land which was William Bartholomew's in the burgh of Edinburgh next to the market cross on the south, between the land of John Wigmer on the east and the land of the late Walter of Corry on the other side; holding by Fergus and his spouse Margaret of Stirling, whichever lives longer, and their lawfully procreated heirs, failing which, by Fergus's lawful heirs, as the late William held it, for service owed and wont.
