David, king of Scots, has inspected a charter of Lord William, king of Scotland, his ancestor, and two charters of Lord Robert, king of Scotland, his progenitor. [1. RRS, ii, no. 182; 1/6/160, giving William de Vieuxpont (II) Bolton (ELO), Carriden (WLO) and Langton (BWK). 2. RRS, v, no. 386; 1/53/14, renewing for William de Vieuxpont (14C) the feus and forfeitures of the barony of Carriden. 3. RRS, v, no. 10; 1/53/13, giving William de Vieuxpont (14C) the baronies of Bolton and Langton.] The king confirms these, saving his service.
