Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved relative John Stewart of Kyle and Annabella daughter of the late John Drummond, his spouse, the earldom of Atholl (PER), with tenancies and services of freeholders and advowsons of churches in which John of Atholl, earl of Atholl, died saised and vested as of feu, which earldom was his beloved nephew Robert, steward of Scotland, earl of Strathearn's, which he resigned to the king by staff and baton; holding by John and Annabella and their lawful heirs, failing which, by John's heirs of the body lawfully procreated, failing which, by Robert his nephew and his heirs; in feu and heritage, with multures, with bondsmen and bondages, neyfs and their offspring, with tenancies and services of freeholders, and with advowsons of churches, for service owed and wont.
