Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Adam Pingle his land of Longforgan (PER), which was the late Alexander of Dunfermline's , and which Emma of Dunfermline, relative and heir of the said late Alexander, resigned to the king at his parliament held at Scone on 28 Sept. 1367 by true and lawful procurators with staff and baton; holding by Adam and his heirs and assigns in feu and heritage, as contained in his father [King Robert's] charter made to John clerk of Dunfermline, father of the said Alexander; making service owed and wont.
