Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Duncan Fraser and Christiana his spouse those pieces of the lands of 'Brownemekdy', Mulben (BNF), and Ordiequish (MOR) in the earldom of Moray and of 'Crechonesy' (Craigenseat, BNF?), 'Balmariot', and 'Auchyinunare' (Auchininna, BNF?) in the sheriffdom of Banff, and of 'Ballyncrayle' in the sheriffdom of Perth, which were Margaret Gillibrand's, spouse of the late Laurence Gillibrand knight, and which Margaret resigned by staff and baton; holding by Duncan and [Christiana] and their heirs lawfully procreated between them, failing which, by the lawful heirs of Margaret; in feu and heritage, as freely as Margaret held them, for service owed and wont.
