David, king of Scots, to his sheriffs and baillies of Fife, noting that at his last parliament held at Scone on 27 Sept., it was ordained by the three communities of the realm and approved by all that all regalities and liberties which have been granted since the death of Robert, king of Scots, his progenitor, be revoked and cancelled, the king commands them to travel to the burgh of Cupar in Fife, publicly and expressly proclaim to the burgesses there that they should not use or exercise any regality or liberties in buying or selling in the burgh or sheriffdom, except those that were customary in the time of King Robert.
