Description
David, king of Scots, to his justiciar north of the Forth or his lieutenant, commanding them to make an assize by good and faithful and aged men of the neighbourhood (patria) according to the assize of the land to determine if the late John of Helbeck brother of Matthew of Helbech died vested and saised as of feu of the third part of the lands of Calderside in the barony of [Blantyre?] (LAN) [and the] land of 'Malcolmschelis' in the sheriffdom of Lanark excepting elemosinary lands.
