Description
David, king of Scots, despite the general revocation made at his parliament at Scone, understands after being truthfully informed, that the land of Ballandro together with that part of Peattie and the western third part of the demesne lands of Inverbervie in the sheriffdom of Kincardine (KCD), which were the late James Campbell, earl of Atholl's, and which the same earl granted hereditarily to Roger de Mortimer knight by charter, and which the king granted by his charter to the same Roger, and due to the earl's infeftment the grant did not fall under his revocation; considering the work and fealty of Roger, the king now gives him the whole land of Ballandro with the third part of Peattie and the western third of the demesne lands of Inverbervie; holding for his homage and service by the aforesaid Roger and William his son, in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
