Description
David, king of Scots, to his sheriffs of Elgin and Forres, noting that he has inspected a charter of his predecessor the late Alexander [II], king of Scotland, to Pluscarden priory, showing the priory to be infeft in the mills of Elgin and Forres (MOR) with other mills belonging to these mills, with all the multure from their cultivated lands, including Longmorn, Quarreywood, Tulloch, Darnaway and Sanquhar (MOR) in their bailliaries. The commands them to give the religious sasine of these multures, and if anyone in future presumes not to pay the said multures, they should poind their goods.
