Description
David, king of Scots, has given Thomas Forester one perch of land in his burgh of Edinburgh, on the north side of the great street descending from the market cross, between the land of Hugh of Selkirk on the east and the land of John of Clyston on the west; which perch belonged to Alexander of Fairlie the bastard, which came to the king after the deaths of the bastard and his son; holding in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
