Description
David, king of Scots, has taken the Friars Preachers of Elgin and their men and possessions under his firm peace and protection. He has granted that no one may take poinds for any debt, pledge or forfeiture, except his burghs. No one should presume to harass them on penalty of his full forfeiture.
