David, king of Scots, has inspected the register of his lord progenitor Robert king of Scotland, where he has seen and inspected the transcript of a charter by the same lord progenitor to the late Oliver Carpenter. [King Robert gives Oliver Carpenter the land of Eddlewood in Clydesdale. = RMS, i, app. 1, no. 87; H1/53/535]
