Description
David, king of Scots, has given his faithful Thomas of Rait, lands of Balgillo (ANG), which Gilbert the physician, brother and heir of the late Hector the physician, resigned to the king at Montrose on 23 Oct., AD 1369; holding in feu and heritage, as freely and for the same service as the late Patrick MacBeth, father of the said Gilbert, as he was infeft by charter of his lord father [King Robert I].
