David, king of Scots, has inspected a charter of Hugh Ross of Philorth. [Charter of Hugh Ross, lord of Philorth, son of Lord Hugh earl of Ross to his beloved relative Adam of Urquhart, sheriff of Cromarty, of his land of Fishrie in Buchan in the bailliary of King Edward (ABD) and the 'fortyr' called Clochforbie (ABD).] The king confirms this, saving his service.
