David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Thomas Spring the land of Gask (ABD) with a rent of 2 marks from 'Balmalyne', which was Helen MacGuffok's, which Helen resigned to the king at Edinburgh on 24 Dec. 1369; holding in feu and heritage, as freely as Helen held it before her resignation, for service owed and wont.
