Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Alexander Lindsay knight, the barony of Inverarity (ANG), which was Margaret Abernethy, countess of Angus's, and which Margaret resigned at Edinburgh on 15 Jan., AD 1369 [sic]; holding in feu and heritage, with bondsmen and bondages, neyfs and their offspring, with tenancies and services of freeholders, as freely as the countess held it before her resignation, for service owed and wont.
