Description
David, king of Scots, has given John of Ardler, the lands of Ardler and Baldowrie (ANG), with one burgage in his burgh of Inverkeithing, which John resigned; holding by John and the lawful heirs of his body, failing which, to Patrick of Blair brother of the said John and the lawfully procreated heirs of his body, failing which, by the nearest lawful heirs of John; in feu and heritage, in one free and integral barony, for service owed and wont.
