Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Thomas of Erskine, knight, for his faithful service, feu and reversion of all his lands of Cultenhove and 'Tulchgorme' (STL), whose freeholders are now in the hands of John de Burgh, knight, for the term of his life; holding by Thomas and Joan Barclay his spouse, whichever lives longer, and their legitimately procreated male heirs; in feu and heritage, for one pair of gilt spurs annually at Stirling castle on the Feast of St John the Baptist as blanchferme if requested, for wards, reliefs, marriages and services.
