Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Thomas of Cranston all the lands of 'New Cranstoun' (Cranstoun Riddel, MLO), which the same held from him in chief before his concession, by ward and relief and other service owed and wont; holding in feu and heritage, with courts and escheats, bondsmen and bondages, and services of freeholders; for one silver penny as blanchferme if requested on Whitsun, for suit of court, ward, relief and marriage.
