Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Richard Comyn, for his faithful service, 10 marks annually from the lands of the two Carnousies (BNF), which belonged to John Burnard his claviger (keeper of the keys), and which John resigned to him; holding in feu and heritage, rendering annually one pair of white gloves or two silver pennies at the two Carnousies on Whitsun if requested.
