Description
Edward, king of Scots, has granted to his beloved valet William of Stapleton all the lands and holdings which were Adam of Dalmain’s and John, son of William Inglis’s in Liddesdale and the lands called Hirdmanistoun in Teviotdale. The lands will not be held of the crown but of the chief lords of the feus, for service owed and wont.
