Description
Walter, archbishop of York, to G., dean, and Masters Laurence of Lincoln and Robert Haget, canons of York; writes that in negotiations of election to bishopric of Whithorn, which has been called between Sir Odo, a canon of Whithorn, and his electors, and Sir [...], a monk of Melrose, and his electors, men are appointed to discuss and, if possible, to end in whatever manner, on morrow of St Trinity, in great church of York. If all cannot be present, two of them shall go.
