Description
Walter, archbishop of York, commands abbots, priors, personas, vicars and all clergy in Galloway, in virtue of obedience firmly enjoined, to make satisfaction to Master G., archdeacon of York, his official, for procurations owed by seat of Whithorn, however small, for past and present year, just as G., their late bishop used to pay while he lived, and also for sinodalia of present year as soon as synod shall be performed, and all others pertaining to spiritualities of same diocese, which bishop might have paid if he lived, and which by metropolitan right pertains to York, as long as seat of Whithorn is vacant.
