Description: Robert, bishop of St Andrews, for Dunfermline Abbey has granted church of Calder 'of the Earl' (i.e. West Calder, MLO) which Earl Duncan [of Fife] has given, and church of Kirknewton (MLO) which Alfwin, the rannaire, and Eda, his wife, gave. He wishes and instructs that monks shall hold them quit of all exaction, save episcopal dues.
