Description
Archibald, bishop of Moray, for Sir Reginald le Chen the younger, lord of Duffus, and Mary his spouse, daughter of the late Freskin of Moray; with the consent of the dean and chapter, he has given at feuferme all his land of Strathnaver (SUT), in the diocese of Caithness, which Lady Joanna, late spouse of Sir Freskin of Moray, bestowed on the church of Moray for the maintenance of two chaplains, of Langdale (SUT) and Rosal (SUT), of tofts of 'Dovyr' (SUT), Achness (SUT), Clebrig (SUT), 'Ardovyr' (SUT) and Coire-na-fearn (SUT), rendering 12 marks yearly to canons of Elgin for the maintenance of two chaplains.
