Description
Archibald, bishop of Moray, for Sir David Graham; notes dangerous controversy between Sir William of Fenton, knight, and Sir David of Graham, knight, concerning land of Kiltarlity (INV) and fishing on the Forn (Beauly River) (INV), and grants to David, heir of Patrick, land and fishing at feuferme for 100s. annually and, with consent of dean and chapter and by wish of Patrick to renounce ferme into bishop's hands, bishop further has given all land of church of Kiltarlity and land pertaining to fishing in waterfall of the Forn, or pertaining to Sir William of Fenton, knight, and Patrick of Graham for 6 marks annually, 20s. by Sir William and 20s. by Sir Patrick. Sirs William and Patrick also made homage and fealty and admitted an oath to bishop.
