Description
William, bishop of St Andrews, for Dryburgh Abbey; notifies that Margaret of Ardross, daughter of Sir Merleswain, late lord of Invergelly, by wish and consent of Sir Hugh of Pearsby, her spouse, resigned into bishop's hands whole land in tenement of Innergellie (FIF), with her hereditary right to Dryburgh Abbey. The bishop, inclined by the prayers of Hugh and Margaret, gives land and all hereditary right, rendering to the bishop the annual rent that their predecessors used to pay for all service and demand.
