Description
William, dean, and the chapter of Brechin, with the common consent and assent of the whole chapter, have ratified and by this charter established the donations, grants and confirmations of the churches of Kingoldrum (ANG), Monikie (ANG), Panbride (ANG), Dunnichen (ANG) and Catterline (KCD), made to Arbroath Abbey by Turpin, Ralph, Hugh, Gregory and Albin [bishops of Brechin], in free, pure and perpetual alms, with all rights and teinds pertaining to them, to hold and possess for their own uses and for their sustenance. With unanimous consent of the chapter, William also ratifies the assessment of the vicarages of the churches, made by Bishop Albin.
