Description
The chapter of the cathedral of Dunkeld, with the consent and authority of H[ugh], bishop of Dunkeld, and the common counsel of all the chapter, have remitted and quitclaimed to Lindores Abbey the conveth and rents that they used to receive for the use of the ‘Macleins’ and Scolocs on a half davoch of land at Redgorton (PER), for 4s. which Malise son of Earl Ferteth of Strathearn paid, as contained in his charter and the confirmation of King Alexander II, and as those of Sir Gillebrigte, earl of Strathearn and Sir Robert, his heir, bear witness.
