Description
William of Lindsay, dean, and the chapter of Glasgow, at the instance of William, bishop of Glasgow, have established the donation and grant which the same bishop made to Lesmahagow Priory (LAN) of the church of Kilmaurs in Cunningham (AYR) to have for their own uses; the goods and fruits of the church itself may be paid to the house of Lesmahagow for the use and convenience of the house; but if the goods and fruits are made [elsewhere] the grant made to Lesmahagow is not be valid and will be void by force and effect, saving the rights of the bishop and of Master William of Cunningham, rector of the said church.
