Description
Master Laurence, archdeacon of St Andrews, notifies that he has heard from trustworthy men that the church of Naughton (FIF) was collated by Nobleman Alan de Lascelles, patron of that church, to the prior and canons of St Andrews and established by W[illiam], bishop of St Andrews, of illustrious memory. Laurence also has heard that the presentation of the same was obtained by Gervase de Néauflé; Gervase has renounced the parsonage of the church whereby Master Laurence procures Sir Richard de Thouny in that office, and asks that he be admitted and instituted in the same.
