Description
William, bishop of St Andrews, for Scone Abbey; has granted all churches which they have in bishopric of St Andrews, that is, church of Scone and its chapels, that is, Kinfauns (PER), 'Cragis' (PER), Rait (PER), churches of Liff (ANG), Invergowrie (PER), 'Logindunde' (Lochee, ANG), Cambusmichael (PER), Borthwick (MLO) and Carrington (MLO). These churches, confirmed by his predecessors to them, he gives and establishes to them [and] he grants license to them to retain or remove whatever chaplains they wish suitable for those churches, excepting that church of Scone be immune from synodalia and assistance, saving rights of archdeacon of St Andrews
