Description
David, bishop of St Andrews, with assent of monks of Kelso, has provided that vicars presented to vicarage of Langton (BWK) shall have whole altarage, supporting all burdens of church [...] they shall receive in full, vicars presented to vicarage of [...] shall have all altarage, garbal teinds shall fall to uses of the monks. The vicars presented to church of Cranston (MLO) shall receive whole altarage with any manner of teinds from New Cranston, supporting all burdens. All other garbal teinds of villa and land of Preston (ELO) shall remain with monks.
