Description
David, bishop of St Andrews, makes known that Sir David, earl, brother of Sir William, king of Scots, founded an abbey at Lindores, and granted church of Lindores and its parsonage to abbot and monks. The bishop thus gives to abbot and monks that church of Lindores and parsonage of the same church, and that church shall be free and quit from corrodies, hospitality, synodals, cain and conveth. He also grants all other liberties.
