Description
King Alexander II for Kelso Abbey and Abbot Richard; has granted all liberties and customs which abbots before Richard had enjoyed. Wherever, outside kings demesnes, he or his serjeants may find his fugitive, he is to have them justly and without delay, and no one is to detain them or their chattels unjustly, on pain of king's full forfeiture.
