King Alexander II for Melrose Abbey; has granted that quitclaim which Earl Patrick [II] of Dunbar, son of Earl Patrick, made of all his right by reason of Malcolm's Road (Dere Street?), and whatever other right he had towards west beyond the causeways (i.e. in Melrose) as one goes to Lauder
