- King Alexander II for Ivo, his cook, son of Nigel, the cook; has granted Balcaskie in territory of Kellie (FIF), by its right marches, and that half of Pitdinnie (FIF) which King David gave to grandfather of said Ivo; to be held in feu and heritage, with right to build and maintain a mill at Balcaskie, for service of one mounted sergeant with a habergeon, as charter of King William, his father, to said Ivo bears witness.
