Description
King Alexander II for Arbroath Abbey; has given, in endowment of its church when he caused it to be dedicated, his land of Nigg (KCD), with neyfs of land, and with pleas of the crown, reserving to king his customary fisheries. He also grants that monks may hold Nigg in free forest, and forbids anyone to fell timber or hunt there without their licence, on pain of his full forfeiture of £10.
