Description
King Alexander II for Coupar Angus Abbey; has given, in endowment of its church when he caused it to be dedicated, following lands in Glen Isla (ANG): Bellaty, Freuchie, Craignity, Inverharity and Forter. He wishes them to hold this land, saving the pleas of the crown; and grants that monks may hold these lands in free forest. No one is to fell timber or hunt there without their licence, on pain of his full forfeiture of £10.
